Another fun item to have is a pedometer to track your steps and mileage. This will build your self esteem. You will be surprised at how fast the steps will add up.

It will help build your immune system and endurance, so you can spend more time playing with the kids or the dog. Research shows that more frequent short workouts equal the same benefits as longer less frequent walks. This proves that walking can fit into your schedule.
