Very nice article. I've been meditating for 12 years now and my father-in-law tells me I look younger every time I see him. For me the real value of meditation is the truth I learn about myself and the nature of the world. Discovering the depths of "what is" and finding the beauty of simplicity have been more reward that I ever imagined for spending what my kids call quiet time. There's lots of great meditation traditions out there but I really connect with the Shambhala view of taking one's meditation practice into the world to create an enlightened society.
