Hi Canice, your article is so helpful! Thank you so much for posting! I've always blamed myself for everything that is going wrong at work and keep thinking to myself, why don't I have it together like everyone else? I hate feeling so down every time I get up to go work in the morning, so I am trying to help myself by using sites like http://onlineceucredit.com/edu/social-work-ceus-sea to rid my inner critic and improve my self esteem. So far, I am seeing an improvement in my life and I hope someone can too!

Hi Canice! I found this entry particularly interesting. One of my favorite quotes in the world is from Hamlet: \To thine own self be true.\ In a world where so much revolves around body image and appearance, the people who truly stand out and shine are those who are beautiful within because they are comfortable with themselves. I also really tuned in with your idea that people should not let past, negative experiences stay with them. Living happily includes growing from mistakes that you make. Sure, everyone has had bad experiences in live, but it's necessary to understand how one might grow from something so unfortunate. Turn your life around and make it better, don't get down on yourself.

I am working on marketing a personal health record that stores all of your medical information in one, centralized place. I know I have spoken to Irene about this before but I thought I'd mention it again. CladeHealth Tracker is an iPhone app that will soon also be available on iPads and the Android market that holds your information on physicians, medications, procedures, health conditions, health history, allergies, vaccines, etc in one place. A PHR such as CladeHealth Tracker encourages independence and health empowerment, because it really encourages people to take their health into their own hands and to not just rely on a plethora of doctors and other health care professionals who might misplace their records. If you want to check out more info, our website is: www.cladehealth.com. We also have a blog there for you to check out if you have time. We'd appreciate comments. Also, if you have a Facebook or Twitter account you can like us on those portals too if you like.

Thank you for this insightful post. I hope that others learn from it and are as inspired by it as I have been.

I do not understand why do you think, that a good friend - it's great luck? I think that it is normal to have 4 - 5 friends. And it's not hard.
Indeed, lived years, memories will never leave alone. Like true friends.

Breaking free from external factors is a huge part of improving your self-esteem. The people who criticize us the most tend to be those who lack self-esteem themselves, and would rather cut everyone else down to size than actually improve themselves (it is because we tend to like the \easy way out\ in life)

Therefore, my tip for improving your self esteem is to pay less attention to what others have to say about you. Try it, it really does work!

OMG, as a child, I remember Donnie being fascinating and so articulate-I am so excited that he has this kind of insight and talent and can help with transformation. I wish I still had my doggie so that I could have better understood him.
