Happy Thanksgiving from Irene and our resident Pilgrim – Jack.
My grandson, Jack, is in Kindergarten and came home today to give me a full report on Thanksgiving – from the landing of the Mayflower to the first thanksgiving feast with the native Americans. He knew what they did to survive when they came to this country and he knew about the food they ate at the first Thanksgiving.
I was impressed.
He made his hat and his Pilgrim collar which was a bit askew. I doubt if the first Pilgrims had a polo league shirt but this is 2oo9, after all. He looked like the “real deal to me (of course I’m not objective – I’m his Gramma).
Anyway, we wish you a blessed day with turkey and all the trimmings. We wish you love and laughter, health and happiness.
