Growth is defined differently for everyone. I see growth as a movement forward in our lives. It offers a sort of leveling up in one or more areas that you are focusing on. Of course we all have a natural growth phase that takes place physically in the body over the years. And then at some point the physical growth spurts decrease and we get to grow emotionally, mentally and spiritually. What is your definition of growth?
But how can we provide unlimited growth potential in our lives. Here are three ways that I have found the most effective working with others and for myself as well. These are simple to implement within no time to start seeing results.
1. Be mindful of what you think – Our thoughts determine what we do, how we act, what we say and pretty much everything in-between. It is so vitally important to understand and monitor our thoughts. Do you think in ‘solutions’ rather than ‘problems’? Creating a plan to monitor and shift our thoughts on a daily basis. This is how we create the world around us. The people that we have in our immediate environment are the mirrors for us to let us know how we are thinking. This can be really confronting but observe this and if you don’t like what you are seeing… change it. This is key on your way to unlimited growth potential.
2. Learn, Learn some more and then Learn even more – Remain open to learn from others. Read books, take classes, surround yourself in different groups of people, expand your social circle. Continuous learning and education helps us be more creative and have more understanding. This allows you to grow and expand in all directions that you desire.
3. Find humor in your own Humanity – I have found that having humor is one of the best healing modalities. Learn to laugh at yourself. I don’t mean beat yourself up for not getting things right or make fun of yourself or others. But the sooner that you can learn how to find the humor even in the serious things happening in your world you will be able to allow full growth potential from within. Find people around you that help support unlimited growth and don’t try to limit you with what they think you should be doing or are. Listen to others opinions and view points, but ultimately You are the one who knows what your truest potential for unlimited growth really is.
I have helped many people make changes in their lives to help them move more towards being their true selves and living authentically. It is one of the most rewarding experiences in our life to have access to our unlimited growth potential.
