Obesity is an American epidemic that is passed from one person to another on a plate – literally – a plate filled with greasy fast foods, gooey sugary food and excessive amounts of food accompanied by a large sugar packed soft drink. According to Dr. Larry’s book, Calorie Wars: Fat, Fact and Fiction, 46% of American adults and 33% of our children are obese. Associated with obesity are increased risk for joint problems, angina, high blood pressure, heart attacks, strokes, type 2 diabetes and, ultimately premature death. This doesn’t take into account the low self esteem and quality of life issues. Weight Loss has become a $40 billion per year industry and growing as rapidly as our waistlines. While most diets fail, Dr. Larry combines eating control with hypnosis to help you “restructure your relationship with food.”
