A rising star in the international world of skydiving, Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld survived a plane crash which killed sixteen of the twenty-two people on board.  He was left critically injured and woke up from a six-week-long coma with a broken neck, cracked skull, severe head trauma, a collapsed lung and other serious internal injuries.  Against all odds, Dan recovered and went on to lead the USA 4 and 8 person Skydiving Teams to multiple World Championships.  He also put together a team of 300 skydivers and set a new World Record for the largest Freefall Formation.  His book, Above it All tells his story – a story of passion and following his dream against all odds. Guest Bio:  Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld made his first skydive in 1980 when he was a freshman at Ohio State University.. He worked his way through college as a licensed skydiving instructor, jumpmaster, parachute rigger and pilot, graduating in 1984 with a major in Aviation and a minor in Theatre. His  talent for bringing out the best in others made him one of the most influential people and sought after coaches in the history of skydiving.  He coached the  2004, 2005 and 2006 Women’s World Champion teams to victory. As a competitor Dan has lead teams to 16 National Championship Gold Medal victories and 7 World Championships. He was one of the coordinators of the GO FAST 300-WAY, the World Record largest free fall formation of 300 skydivers jumping from 14 airplanes simultaneously. Dan is currently General Manager at Perris Valley Skydiving, one of the world’s premier  skydiving centers where this story took place.
