A Special Gift for You

Spread the love

Sometimes people don’t come wrapped in beautiful packages. Some of us are old, overweight, too tall, too short too – whatever. And people judge us by the way we look without even trying to get to know us. This has happened to most of us at some time or another. But the wrapping is not the gift and sometimes doesn’t represent the gift well at all.

In Great Britain  in their program “Britain’s Got Talent” one such gift appeared. Susan Boyle, a 47 year old, unemployed woman from Scottland took the stage. The audience laughed at her when she said she wanted to be a professional singer – one as great as Elain Page. And then she sang.

As you listen, think about the times you have judged the book by its cove or been judged before you were allowed to represent yourself. Enjoy.

There is no embedding available for this on You Tube, but click the link below to see what is inside this   gift named Susan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY
