How to Manage and Overcome Seasonal Depression

It’s taking care of your rudimentary needs in order to make sure that you’re in the best physical, mental, and emotional state to be there for others around you.   • Getting quality sleep on a regular basis and in the right quantities (7 to 9 hours per night).

  • Getting regular exercise, even if it means taking the time to go to the gym while the weather is cold and the days are short.

These filters, known as cognitive distortions, can range from jumping to conclusions to overgeneralizing, reasoning emotionally, labeling, and several other self-destructive thought patterns.
